Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Sacred Contract?

A Sacred Contract is an arrangement that we have made before we were born. This contract influences everything that we do. A Sacred Contract helps you to find purpose and value in life. It gives insight into your relationship to personal and spiritual power. Learning to understand your Contract will change the way you look at your life, relationships, occupation and experiences. You will learn to look at your life symbolically using the language of archetypes.

What is an Archetype?

The lessons we need to learn in our lives are expressed in a symbolic language that uses archetypes. Archetypes are characteristic, powerful patterns of behaviour that we carry in our psyche. We all are familiar with expressions like: “He acts like a con artist”, or “She is such a princess”, or “He stands on his soapbox again.” These expressions are archetypes. They suggest explanations of behaviour that we all recognize right away. We have in our life twelve archetypes that are always present. Through them we can understand ourselves and our Sacred Contract.

What are chakras?

We have seven energy centers in our body called chakras. Chakra means “wheel of light” in ancient Sanskrit. The chakras are the keys to physical health, emotional balance and mental lucidity. Each chakra influences different organs in our biological system. When this energy is disturbed we can create illnesses in our body. The first three chakras are connected to our immediate surroundings and the energy of the earth; chakras four, five, six and seven are linked to love, attitudes, spirituality and self-expression.

What is an archetypal wheel?

To help you understand the archetypes you have selected, we use the figure of a wheel divided into twelve categories that contain every facet of human life, corresponding to the twelve astrological houses.

The twelve houses of the Archetypal Wheel are:

  1. Personality, Ego: the face you present to the outside world

  2. Life Values: ownership, finances, your relationship to earthly power

  3. Self-expression, Siblings: the power of choice

  4. Home: establishing your emotional foundation

  5. Creativity, Good Fortune: erotic energies, including creativity, sexuality, and synchronicity/chance

  6. Occupation and Health: seeking security in the physical world

  7. Relationships: marriage and partnerships

  8. Other People's Resources: stocks, inheritance, death and closure

  9. Spirituality: wisdom, publishing, travel

  10. Highest Potential: completing the integration of the self

  11. Interaction with the World: relating your creativity to humanity

  12. The Unconscious

The Wheel helps you to understand the hidden patterns behind your relationships and the events of your life. It assists you in your process of transformation. (Reference from Dr. Caroline Myss - www.myss.com)

What is a Chronos Wheel?

Chronos is related to the physical dimension of your life. The first chart we are going to work on is the Chart of Origin or Chronos Chart. These archetypes will be always your steady companions, your personal set of twelve.

What is a Kairos Wheel?

The Kairos Wheel is your second wheel. The archetypes you choose for the Kairos Wheel are linked to energies that rule the here-and-now, now on this moment. They are different from the twelve Chronos archetypes. They symbolize a deeper connection with your inner self. They are always different with different questions and on different points in time.

What is a Cosmic Wheel?

The third wheel is named the Cosmic Wheel. It provides a cosmic insight on the problem that will be totally new to you. It is again a new set of twelve archetypes, different from the first two sets. They will be different each time as well.
